Want to spend a few days in the sun and bath in aquamarine blue waters? Head to Ibiza! Apart from long nights and champagne showers, Ibiza is also known for its beautiful remote beaches and spectacular climate! The best way to spend an unforgettable day on this stunning island, is by doing an Ibiza Yacht Charter! Read on and find out how to spend a perfect day on Ibiza's waters.
It's boat o'clock
Start your boating day in Ibiza town. Leaving the old town and sailing to the south west, you'll come by the breathtaking coastline of the island. Enjoy the view over Platja d'en Bossa in the early morning light and stop for a refreshing swim in Platja des Cavallet. After a dip in Ibiza's crystal clear water, set sail and head to Formentera. Your yacht charter will sail along various small islets. Once you've reached Formentera, your first stop is the island of S'Espalmador. Take advantage of the morning light and take a picture of this beautiful scenery.
Sail a few minutes more and drop the anchor! Playa de Illetas is Formentera's most famous beach. A post card-like place that you will never want to leave again. Water so clear, that you will even see the tiniest shell on the ground. Jump into the blue, swim and explore the magnificent marine life.
Lunch in paradise
As midday approaches, head to the beach restaurant Juan y Andrea. A once small beach shack, which has established itself during the last few years to Formentera's hottest lunch spot. Make sure to book your table in advance. It would be a pity to sail all the way to Formentera without having a chance to taste the fantastic seafood at Juan y Andrea. After a delicious meal, enjoy your last sip of Sangria and simply enjoy the moment of having your barefoot toes in the fine white sand, before it's time to go jump on your dinghy and head back to your yacht hire.
Did somebody say siesta? Yes, vacationing in Ibiza always includes a short siesta after a meal. So lean back, relax and let the captain take you back to Ibiza.
Our next stop is Las Salinas. A beach close to the southern most point of the island. Las Salinas is one of the most stylish beaches on the island. The perfect place to while away the afternoon by a drink and good music. Apart from travellers and boaties, this beach is also quite popular among celebrities. Keep your eyes open, as you never know, who will anchor his yacht next to yours.
End the day right
It's time to set sail back to Ibiza town. Enjoy the last rays of sunshine on the island's renaissance city walls, that surround the old town, before arriving at Ibiza's harbour. To end the day the right way, treat yourself and dine in one of the fashionable restaurants along the beach promenade.
