Sailing in Mallorca? A perfect 7-day trip around the island

Once you have booked your next sailing boat rental on, it is time to plan your trip, we have prepared this 7-day sailing itinerary around the island of Mallorca for you, we hope you enjoy it.

Day 1: Palma

Palma, the capital of the Balearic Islands in the southwest of Majorca, this is the perfect start point as most of the sailing yachts available for charter on bluebnc are either in La Lonja Marina Charter or one of the Marinas in the Paseo Maritimo. We recommend you spend part of this first day getting all the supplies necessary for your one week charter and then the rest getting to know your boat practising with your crew in the bay of Palma.

Day 2: Sa Rápita and Es Trenc

Setting sail from Palma towards the east you will arrive after 3 hours to Sa Rapita where you can either moor your boat in the Club Nautico de Sa Rapita for 40 Euros a night or anchor between Sa Rapita and Colonia Sant Jordi. Sa Rapita is modern marina with excellent facilities, and it is next to the beautiful beach of Es Trenc, white-sand beach kilometres long that will be the delight of you and your crew.

Day 3: Porto Cristo

After Sa Rapita we continue sailing south-west bound, passing Punta Salinas (Punta is Cape in Mallorquin), the southernmost point of Majorca, we recommend you stopping at anchor in Cala Nau for lunch where you will get to swim or dive in crystal clear waters. In the afternoon continue sailing west towards Porto Cristo, where you will find two Marinas; The "Club Nautico de Porto Cristo" and the "Puerto de Porto Cristo" either of them offers excellent facilities, and both are on channel 9 of the VHF.

 Day 4: Pollensa
